Measuring and Increasing Career Readiness (Concurrent Session)

October 28, 2026 | 4:30 PM-5:30 PM |

Preparing students for career readiness is a priority topic at campuses across the nation. From Career Services, to categorical programs, to student employment, to academic integration, there are many unique strategies in action to prepare students for life after college. But, how are students able to articulate this growth? How are campuses building shared language and philosophy around career readiness? This session focuses on measuring student career readiness using the NACE Career Readiness & Mobility Inventory in multiple spaces across campus, as well as helping to increase student career readiness through an 8-step curricular model focused on building relationships with alumni and professionals at employers of interest from scratch.
