Navigating Financial Aid at Turbo Speed!

Welcome to Bowling Green, Kentucky, and the Fall 2026 Kentucky Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (KASFAA) Conference!

We are excited to welcome financial aid professionals from across the Commonwealth to the western part of Kentucky for a conference that promises to be informative, engaging, and—just like our theme—moving at turbo speed!

The past year has brought significant changes to financial aid, and we know the pace is not slowing down. With the implementation of the One Big Beautiful Bill (OB3) and major changes taking effect for the 2026–27 award year, financial aid professionals are navigating new rules, new processes, and plenty of questions. This conference is an opportunity to slow down just enough to learn, collaborate, and make sure we are ready to hit the road running.

Throughout the conference, we will focus on the changes that matter most to our institutions and our students, including OB3 implementation, federal student loan changes, Pell Grant updates, Workforce Pell, eligibility requirements, and the practical impact of these changes on our day-to-day work.

But KASFAA is about more than regulations and compliance. It is about people, partnerships, and sharing what works. As financial aid professionals, we often find ourselves navigating complicated situations at turbo speed. Having colleagues across the state who understand the challenges—and are willing to share their experience—makes all the difference.

We are especially excited to showcase the western part of Kentucky and welcome you to Bowling Green. We hope you will take some time between sessions to enjoy the community, explore the area, and experience a little of what makes western Kentucky special.

Whether you are a seasoned financial aid veteran, a new professional finding your way, or somewhere in between, we hope you leave this conference with new knowledge, practical tools, fresh ideas, and a renewed sense of connection to your KASFAA colleagues.
